Fine Arts

Some students have a passion for expressing themselves creatively, whether through music or theater.  Regis' Fine Arts Department showcases the talents of these students with our instrumental music, vocal music and theater programs.     

Band / Jazz Band

• Band is available to all 6th, 7th and 8th grade students, even if they've had little or no experience.  
• Participate in three music concerts each year, as well as participate in the Xavier Band Festival, Large Group Band Festival, small ensembles, Honor Bands and All City Solo and Ensemble Contests.

Choir / Show Choir

• There are three choirs at Regis: 6th grade choir, 7th grade choir and 8th grade choir. 
• Students learn to sing songs in English and other languages, play musical games, and dance and work toward building confidence in their singing skills.
• Students have opportunities to audition for OPUS Honor Choir and participate in show choir.  
• Regis choir department has a tradition of excellence and welcome all to participate.

Theater
Regis offers three opportunities for your student to explore the area of theater: 

• a drama production using a script designed for emerging actors and actresses in the fall.
• our speech program introduces students to what the speech program at Xavier High School offers in the winter.
• a musical production that is written specifically for young performers in the spring.
• Students may also assist behind the scenes for technical support, creating sets, and assisting with costumes, props, lighting and sound. 
• The Theater Program is open to students in all grade levels and experience.
